W.C. Handy Music Festival - 2004
A weeklong
tribute to the "Father of the Blues," W.C. Handy. Great Jazz
and Blues music was heard throughout the Shoals at restaurants,
theatres, malls, parks and other locations. The week included
over 100 events perfect for the jazz and blues enthusiast
as well as great family entertainment.

Legends
of Jazz Series
The
Music Preservation Society began a tradition of bringing
jazz musicians to the festival who performed in different
musical combinations - educational programs, jam sessions,
